EZRA Elective Course: The Gospel of Luke (3 CUs)

Along with the Bible, Luke: The Gospel of the Son of Man, by Paul N. Benware is the textbook used in this course. It is acknowledged by Bible scholars and students alike that the Gospel of Luke presents a picture of Jesus Christ that allows us to see Him in His role as the Divine/Man. Christ’s favorite designation for Himself was, “the Son of Man.” This course traces the development of that human aspect of Christ from the details surrounding His birth to His authentication and victory in His resurrection. The student will gain a new appreciation of this beloved Gospel.
