Dr. B.H. (Hap) Struthers, PhD is the Founder and President Emeritus at Faith Bible College Norfolk, VA. Dr. Struthers has a BA and MA in Bible, an MS in Education, and a PhD in Old Testament and Old Testament Languages. He spent 21 years as a Navy chaplain and 18 years at Columbia International University before co-founding Faith Bible College with Dr. Ken Brackney in 1995. Hap still teaches FBC classes, investing in students locally and globally through God’s Word. He has been presenting this particular course for over 50 years to audiences all over the world.
This course is an introductory study into the person of God as revealed in His names and attributes. Emphasis will be given to the Hebrew words used for God in the Old Testament and the words used to describe His character and being. While students learn who God is and about His intimate care for us, they will be able to make applications to daily life and ministry which is an intregral aspect of the course.
